Delaware Humane Association Delaware 105.9 loves pets! That's why we've partnered with the Delaware Humane Association to bring you the Pet Page. Each week, we'll show you a cat and a dog from the Delaware Humane Association who need good homes. You can also get answers to your pet health questions in our new Ask the Vet feature, plus useful information for any animal lover in our Tip of the Month section.

The Beach Puppies

Spayed female medium Hound mix puppies
Wish you could make it to the beach more often? Just visit with us - Bethany, Henlopen, Fenwick & Rehoboth - and see you can even more fun in the sun when you adopt one of us! We were transferred from an overcrowded shelter in hopes of finding our forever homes. Being that we're still young pups, we certainly have a good deal of learning ahead of us. We would love to some day excel at: walking nicely on a leash, following basic commands, knowing where to go potty, and playing nice with others. We are wonderfully sweet and can't wait to be the newest addition to your family; won't you come meet us and see who is your missing puzzle piece?!

Spayed female adult Domestic Short Hair
My name is Autumn, as I have a very "fall" colored coat! I'm a very pretty young tabby with calico markings (some call that Tabico). I'm shy by nature, but I enjoy being pet. I'm hoping to find someone who is gentle and sweet just like me. If you met me a few weeks ago, come back and meet me again. I have made such great strides thanks to the caring staff. I am expressing how outgoing, flirty and playful I really am! I promise to make you laugh with my silly antics. I would still probably do best in a calm home with no small children, but might excel with an outgoing cat who can bring me out of my shell! Maybe you're just who I've been waiting for!

Last Week's Pets: Peep the kitten has an adoption pending. Snowball the dog is still available.
