Mark Fowser is News Director and afternoon news anchor at Delaware1059. He has been covering Delaware news for more than 20 years and also worked in the Atlantic City and northern New Jersey markets in radio, television and print journalism. Mark is a native of Claymont, Delaware and a graduate of Boston University. Also, Mark is currently in his fourth term as President of the Delaware Press Association, the state affiliate of the National Federation of Press Women.
Joe Irizarry started at Delaware 105.9 in May 2013 after spending time at our sister station WDEL in Wilmington. Joe had two stints at WDEL, which included anchoring and reporting. Between stints at WDEL, Joe worked at NJN Public Radio in Trenton, NJ and WRTI Public Radio in Philadelphia, mainly as a news anchor at both places. Joe has also reported on sports in his time as reporter, as he covered Flyers games at WRTI. Joe graduated from Temple University, where he got his start as a reporter in WRTI the first time. Joe covered the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia, the Flyers in the 1997 Stanley Cup Final, the Temple Owls in the 2000 men's NCAA Basketball Tournament as well as the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and 76ers.
Kelli Steele is an award-winning broadcaster with over twenty years of radio journalism experience. In addition to her radio work, Kelli has served as a public relations and policy advisor for former Delaware Governor Ruth Ann Minner. Kelli started as morning news anchor at Delaware 105.9 in September 2013. In her spare time, Kelli enjoys working out at the gym and reading.
