A crash near Seaford a week ago has now claimed the life of a passenger.

State Police say 81-year-old Mable Lake of Hurlock, Maryland was a passenger in one of two cars that collided on Route 13 near Middleford Road.

After the crash, she was flown to Christiana Hospital where she died Tuesday.

Troopers say Ms. Lake was not wearing her seat belt.

The driver of the car she was in was treated for injuries that were non-life-threatening, and the other driver was not hurt.

The cause of last Wednesday's accident remains under investigation.
