Dover Police Make Large Drug Bust

Officers from the Dover Police Department Drug, Vice and Organized Crime Unit along with the Safe Streets Unit executed a search warrant at 170 Mitscher Road in Dover after investigations led police to believe that there was drug distribution going on at the home. Police who were executing the search and found many different drugs and weapons.

Officers at the scene located a 110 bags of heroin, $6,003.00 dollars in small bills, 7 grams marijuana, .4 grams cocaine, one 9mm semiautomatic handgun and one 44 magnum revolver. The residents and suspects John Franklin and Kyle Dye have been arrested. John Franklin was also found to have active warrants with the Delaware State Police for Assault form over a year ago.
