A large fight on Spruance Road in Dover leads to gunfire, and an 18-year-old young man being shot in the upper body.

Dover Police say the victim was rushed to Kent General Hospital and was in critical but stable condition.

At least a dozen gunshots were fired toward a residence in the 100-block of Spruance Drive shortly after 1:00 a.m. Thursday.

In addition to one person being shot, a home was also riddled with bullets.

A suspect in the shooting is described as black, about 18 years old, 5' 5" - 5' 6", with a thin build.

He wore a dark T-shirt and blue jeans.

Police are also looking for a gold or tan SUV, possibly a Chevy Trailblazer, with rear tinted windows and chrome rims.

If you can help with the investigation, contact Dover Police (302-736-7111) or Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.
