30,000 Chickens Killed in Kent County, MD Fire

A chicken house fire in Kent County, Maryland kills 30,000 birds.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says firemen from Kennedyville were called out to 12606 Augustine Herman Highway just after 10 o'clock Tuesday night for reports of a blaze.

Besides killing all the chickens, the fire caused an estimated $75,000 worth of damage to the chicken house.
