A bomb threat forces the evacuation of the Delaware Technical Community College campus in Georgetown.

Georgetown Police say the call came in to the school shortly before 3 Tuesday afternoon; the caller did not indicate where the supposed bomb had been placed.

Students and faculty were evacuated and bomb-sniffing dogs several times were alerted to a trash can in the William Carter Building.

Members of the Delaware Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit checked out the can, but no explosive was found there, or anywhere else.

The all-clear was given at about 7:45 p.m., and the source of the call is still under investigation.
