Nearly a year after his arrest for DUI, former ABC News anchor Sam Donaldson is reportedly acquitted.

The News Journal reports that a Court of Common Pleas judge dismissed the case Friday, ruling that the officer who pulled over Donaldson last December on Savannah Road lacked probable cause.

Donaldson's attorney cited inconsistencies in the times that sobriety tests were administered, and that some roadside balance tests are not designed for people more than 65 years old.

Donaldson is 79.
