Fire Crews Put Out Overnight Boat Fire
Crews from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and other nearby engines were called to an overnight blaze involving a docked boat near Millsboro.
The incident happened just after midnight on Saturday morning in the area of Joann Drive at Mariner's Cove.
It's unknown what caused the fire, but investigators say the Carolina Skiff was fully engulfed in flames while docked.
The blaze is now under investigation by DNREC and other authorities. The boat is considered a total loss.
