Bald Eagle hit by car makes full recovery. | A Bald Eagle hit by a car in New Castle County last month, makes a full recovery and is released back into the wild.
Delaware Fish and Wildlife Natural Resources Police were dispatched on Tuesday, September 29 for reports of an injured Bald Eagle near Boyd's Corner. The officers determined that the eagle had been struck by a car near Boyd's Corner and Route 13.
The eagle was temporarily transported to Middletown Veterinary Hospital and was then taken to the Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research Center for rehabilitation.
The eagle was released back into the wild Sunday.
