An investigation by Dover Police into heroin sales resulted in the arrest of two men. Police recovered a large amount of heroin yesterday evening after police observed a blue Town & Country minivan in the parking lot of the Wendy's on North DuPont Highway.

Detectives had previously determined that an occupant of the van was distributing heroin which was the reason they were tailing and setting up a sting operation. In the van Jamar K. Tate and Colby T. Hopkins of Milton were found to have 650 bags of heroin contained in his pants, and $500 in his possession.

In the center console of the vehicle, detectives found 130 bags of heroin. Detectives determined that Tate had just sold those bags of heroin to Hopkins. Both were committed to the Vaughn Correctional Center on $39,000 cash bail and charged with possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia.
