Low line areas of Oak Orchard is under water, due to Winter Storm Jonas and lunar tides.

Residents of the area tell Delaware 105.9 that roadways in the problem areas are under eight to ten inches of water. Responders with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Department and the Delaware National Guard were also on the scene to assist with evacuations.

Ray Perry is the founder of AMEN House off Oak Orchard Road, a shelter for homeless men. He tells Delaware 105.9's Jon Budler that flooding has ruined a car and truck used by the shelter.

So far, no injuries reported.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for updates.
