A Somerset County, Maryland museum will soon be featured on the national television show "American Pickers."

The Somerset County Tourism Office tells 47 ABC that on February 10, the History Channel's popular show "American Pickers", plans to feature the former Eastern Shore Americana Museum near Crisfield; the museum was located in a three-story chicken house and was home to the collection of the late Lawrence Burgess; it contains everything from political buttons to oyster tongs.

The shows featured pickers, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz visited the Museum last summer and were apparently amazed at the size of the collection, and spent the day touring the site, interacting with Burgess Family members, and taping footage.

The former Eastern Shore Americana Museum opened in 1976; after his death, the Burgess family donated the collection to Somerset County and future plans apparently include a new exhibit site.

The American Pickers episode featuring the museum will air on Wednesday, February 10, at 9:30 p.m. on the History Channel.
