Celebration today for an addition of land to the Nanticoke Wildlife area

Governor Markell will today (Tuesday), join DNREC, the U.S. Navy and the Chesapeake Conservancy on the Nanticoke River in Laurel, to celebrate an addition of land to the Nanticoke Wildlife Area.
Today's (Tuesday's) event at Phillips Landing will celebrate acquisition of nearly 50 acres of pristine wooded land along Cod Creek, Nanticoke River tributary, and the unique partnership between DNREC, the U.S. Navy and the Chesapeake Conservancy that made the purchase possible.
