By Mark Fowser

A man faces charges he robbed the Royal Farms on North Salisbury Boulevard at knifepoint.

Police say a man entered the store in a wheelchair, left without buying anything, then returned about 45 minutes later.

The man got out of the wheelchair, held a folding knife and demanded money.

He left after receiving some cash, but police found him a few blocks away in his wheelchair.

46-year-old Richard Carroll is charged with robbery, assault, weapons offenses, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
