By Joe Irizarry

A motorcycle accident in Seaford has taken the life of a man.

State Police say the crash happened around 7:10 Monday morning when a pickup truck and a motorcycle collided on Brickyard Road just west of Airport Road.

34-year-old Aaron Partusch was driving the motorcycle, and he was ejected off of the motorcycle after hitting the truck.

The motorcycle came to a stop after going into a mailbox. Partusch, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.

50-year-old Kevin Pritchett of Bridgeville was driving the pickup, and he wasn't injured in the crash.

Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in this case, but charges are pending.

Brickyard Road was closed for about two hours as the crash was investigated and cleared.

Traffic delays should be expected in the area Tuesday morning around 9:30 as the investigation continues.
