Police: Selbyville home targeted in invasion
By Joe Irizarry

State Police believe a Selbyville home invasion wasn't a random act.

Police say three black men armed with weapons broke into the home on the 30,000 block of Rooster Road early Wednesday morning.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at the two people in the home demanding money.

The male victim then got into a physical altercation before being hit in the head with slap stapler. The victim did escape and went to the neighbor's house to call police.

The female victim was also hit in the head with a slap stapler when she intervened in the fight.

The suspects left the home, but they did take the woman's purse which had an undisclosed amount of money.

The two victims were treated for injuries and released from Beebe Medical Center.
