The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office investigated a mobile home fire in Berlin this week.

The blaze broke out just after noon at 9745 Peach Lane on Monday; arriving firemen observed smoke and fire extending from the front yard of the house and the fire had extended into a mobile home.

The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was listed as accidental, caused by burning in a burn barrel which got out-of-control.
