Delaware State Police say the death of one Felton man on Easter has been ruled a murder with another Felton man charged in the killing.

Police say the investigation revealed that 48-year-old John Hart and 30-year-old Michael Mosley were drinking heavily Saturday night March 30th into Sunday morning when they got into an altercation.

Police add that Hart held Mosley down on the ground placing his face in the dirt until Mosley couldn't fight back. The medical examiner's office says the cause of death for Mosley is asphyxia.

Hart was arrested on Tuesday night and charged with criminally negligent homicide, and he was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $7,500.
