Lopez Lyme Bill
The Delaware Senate has passed a bill sponsored Lewes Senator Ernie Lopez to study Lyme Disease in Delaware. According to the CDC in 2012 the state was ranked fourth in the nation in the number of lyme cases with 55 out of every 1000,000 residents. If passed by the House, and signed by the Governor a task force would have to report findings and recommendations to the General Assembly by June 2015.
