Indian River School District to hold series of public meetings to discuss referendum

Following the failures of two referendums in the span of three months, officials at Indian River School District are seeking the public's help in tackling the district's ongoing overcrowding issues.

Superintendent Mark Steele appeared Tuesday on the Rob Sussman program following the district's first sit-down meeting on the subject following the referendum's failure. He told Rob that the future is largely unclear, but that one thing is for sure: the district will need to rent out portable classroom buildings to keep up with demand.
