A local vape store owner is anticipating a 10% loss in sales after the state of Maryland joined Delaware in raising the age to purchase tobacco products and e-cigarettes to 21.

David Eisenhower owns Delmar Vapor Lounge, a chain of vape shops with locations in both Delaware and Maryland.

"Based on my customer statistics, I'm guessing about a 10% drop in sales directly from each of the stores", Eisenhower told Delaware 105.9's Rob Sussman.

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan signed his state's measure on Monday. Delaware Governor John Carney signed a similar measure last month.
