Woodbridge School District teachers want taxpayers to pay for school supplies instead of them

Woodbridge School district teachers are out with a video in advance of the May 29 referendum, showing items they've paid for out of their own pocket.

Things like reams of paper, art supplies, sneakers, and snacks.

The video's intent is to raise awareness of the strapped resources some teachers face in the public schools.

The ultimate goal: to convince the public to vote "yes" in the upcoming referendum.

A local school custodian says he sees a lot of waste.
