The city of San Francisco, California has moved to begin forcing drug addicts to undergo treatment in a move that some are calling a necessarily step, and others are calling a serious violation of civil liberty.
When Rob Sussman asked whether or not the practice should come to Delmarva, two former drug addicts weighed in.
Brian in Millsboro has been off of drugs for about seven years, and told Sussman he wished someone had pulled him off the streets and forced him into treatment.
Shelley in Smithville, MD, another ex-addict who's been clean for 10 years now, didn't share that sentiment. She says that she would have ran away from treatment before she was ready.
Which way should we go? Do you think this idea would be good for Delmarva?
