PETA, animal rights activists condemn Ocean Pines for killing over 200 geese

Hundreds of Canadian Geese were euthanized last week in Salisbury as part of a large scale effort by the USDA Wildlife Service to cut down on overpopulation.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that 362 Canada Geese were humanely euthanized. Their meat was donated to local shelters.

Last year, Ocean Pines caught flak from organizations like PETA when they captured and killed 200 Geese.

What do you think of euthanizing Geese to cut down on overpopulation? They can be mean and cause a mess, that's for sure, but euthanasia is quite the solution.
