A great white shark named Cabot has been spotted off the coast of Delaware.
Shark-tracking organization Ocearch said the great white was recorded in the Delaware Bay yesterday.
Cabot is a 9' male weighing more than 530 lbs.
"Cabot is a 9’ 8”, sub-adult white shark," the organization said on its website. "Our partner SeaWorld named him using suggestions from Nova Scotians after the explorer John Cabot."
It was first tagged in Nova Scotia last year, and has since traveled nearly 4,000 miles.
